Уникальное 389-метровое сооружение торжественно запустили 29 сентября 2011 года. 11 июля 2016 года из-за дождевого паводка мост был разрушен и сейчас движение по нему приостановлено. В республиканском Минтрансе пообещали восстановить мост к осени, но пока работы не начались.
